About Michael Kerry White

I was born outside Cardiff in the UK but now live with my beautiful wife to the west of London in the Bucks countryside . For the final 30 years of my working life I was a highly successful International Sales Director and CEO travelling the world working in and visiting many diverse countries and cultures. It’s these adventures that make up my highly popular The Accidental Salesman talk. But in 2011 I decided to hand in my Frequent flyer cards and retire.

This didn’t last very long (my wife saw to that) and by a series of accidents and good fortune  I have become a multi-award winning character and comedic actor and author (Shooting for the Moon available on Amazon) now documented in – The Accidental Actor. I have appeared in over 70 films and TV productions e.g. Bond 25,His Dark Materials, Downton Abbey,50 Ways to Kill your lover,  Urban Hymn, Yours Accidentally and several other award winning shorts . I have also recorded an original soundtrack (Urban Hymn), recorded at Abbey Road and appeared in five stage productions in major character parts plus a prominent character role in the 2012 Olympic Closing Ceremony. In 2019 I became an on board speaker with TUI Cruise Line presenting on the Marella cruise ships.

Never having any firm destination in life has made it one happy accident after another and has proven what can be achieved if you are willing to grasp the opportunities.

My talks are humorous and informative and my style is very conversational and inclusive.

My Specialist Subjects

The Accidental Actor

Humorously exposing the trials and tribulations of an innocent in the land of luvvies . Hilariously showing what goes on behind the camera and what it takes to remain sane in the mad world of film and tv. Why casting directors offend, why you never trust a Director , how no actor really knows what is going on and how it pays to always say yes to a challenge .My most popular talk and most requested.

The Accidental Salesman

If you thought selling was boring think again! Entertainingly describing 30 years of travelling the world and surviving wars, earthquakes, foreign food, line dancing cowboys and still staying sane. What happens when a complete novice enters the world of International sales and becomes one of the most successful salesman in his field. Relating the scrapes and adventures that can befall you if you just go with the action..

The REAL Pirates of the Caribbean and The Indian Ocean

Robert Louis Stevenson has a lot to answer for. Looking at and exposing the myth and might of the pirates in a humorous and informative fashion. Showing how little we really know about the likes of Blackbeard and Captain Kidd, what an eye patch is really for and why would anyone want to be a pirate. Were there women pirates?? You bet and they were fiercer than the men!

The Bermuda Triangle

One of the most mysterious areas on Earth. This entertaining talk looks at mysterious events and possible explanations for this mythical region. Could it be because of Atlantis, aliens or thin sea or is it something simpler?? This talk explores all the possibilities and offers some explanations.

Michael Kerry White was great. His talks were funny, he was very knowledgeable and the crowd numbers increased with each lecture. Michael was animated during his talks and offered a lot of humour in his life experiences. He was a personality around the ship too and interacted with guests when not on the stage. He was very easy to work with. Myself and Louis were both here and think he offered the perfect variety.

TUI Marella Discovery

Michael is a natural presenter and his two Accidental talks were just great. Highly amusing and informative showing what a life he has led.

Barbara Pearman - International Artist

I related entirely to Michael's talks. He captured the madness and fun of it all in a self deprecating way that fails to hide how talented he is. My American friends loved it too.

Ed Webster - Producer and Art Director

The Accidental Actor - I didn't stop laughing. Brilliantly presented and very, very funny.

Richard Baldwin - Musician
