GAHAGAN
Michael Gahagan is an accomplished artist who delivers painting
and drawing tuition and workshops in an engaging, relaxing, fun and
supportive style to people of all (or no) artistic abilities. While
his animal illustrations have also appeared in numerous articles and
books Michael's artistic subject matter includes landscapes,
seascapes, still life and wildlife.
Michael has a unique style which connects with his audience and
participants in a fun and passionate way which takes the fear out of
painting and drawing. His approach is ideally suited to those who
are keen to try painting and drawing for the first time as well as
supporting and developing the skills of the more discerning artists.

As well as exhibiting his art in various galleries and running his
own art holidays and courses, Michael is engaged by a number of c

suited to those who want to enjoy and have a taster of painting and
drawing whilst relaxing on holiday.
Each year holiday makers in the sunny Greek Island of Skyros
benefit from Michael’s artistic tuition where he delivers his
drawing and watercolour sessions to appreciative audiences of all
nationalities.
Michael is also one of a select number of key tutors engaged by
the Grange in the Isle of Wight to deliver art sessions to holiday
makers who are keen to enjoy a leisurely holiday with an artistic
focus.
Kilmardinny Arts Centre, Scotland also engage Michael to demonstrate
his painting and drawing skills at their annual Open day as a key
element of their active marketing strategy. His engaging approach
with people successfully encourages a high take up of participants
in the Art Centre’s expanding arts programme.
Animal lovers enjoy his wildlife art demonstrations at Mugdock
Park, Milngavie.
