isle, but as a baby was moved to Liverpool and went on to win the
Rugby World Cup with the English rose on his chest in 2003.

contested the scrum half jersey with Matt Dawson, and then Austin
Healey. However, during this highly competitive period for English
quality international number nines and over a 10 year period, Kyran
won 51 caps.
His final England appearance came in the ’03 World Cup against
France. Qualified in law from Bristol University, when the game went
professional he transferred from Bristol RFC to Saracens in 2996.
A highly respected and popular player for both his club and for his
country, he captained England on three occasions as well as leading
Saracens for two seasons. He also toured with the British & Irish
Lions to South Africa in 1997. Kyran retired from the game at the
close of the 2005/06 season.
