Helen
Pointer
From the moment Helen Pointer steps on stage, it is her audience
that is her material. A sea of faces looking at her and wondering
what she is going to do next.
Helen engages with everyone in the room keeping them enthralled
as she chooses as many people as she can to draw whilst discussing
the topic of the day. (see below for topics) Be it Monet ( who
started out as a caricaturist) or the power of the first
impression.
From an audience full of Cruise Ship Passengers, Surgeons, Head
Teachers, Accountants, Hoteliers, Politicians, in front of
celebrities, Royalty or an audience at the Comedy Store she
facilitates, mediates, motivates and meddles with a lot of fun and
laughter.
Helen has "drawn a crowd" at Buckingham Palace, The Ritz London,
Claridges, The BBC, Comic Relief and Kensington Palace as well as
being guest of Alan Bleasdale, Sir Richard Branson and Willie
Rushton
Helen combines her creative skills as a celebrated caricaturist
and artist with a successful career in senior management. She
certainly
brings a breath of fresh air to any event.

Helen provides an absorbing, effective and spontaneous style of
presentation, using her art to exemplify her perceptive facilitation
of group work. This helps people gain confidence and motivates them
to feel good about themselves, reach their full potential and
inspire others. By pulling people out from the audience Helen guides
you through personal impact and interpersonal skill areas whilst
sketching humorous caricatures – it’s interactive, gripping and
novel, and people come away understanding so much more about their
choices
Helen’s starting points deals with the everyday issues that face us
all.
- How do we perceive ourselves?
- How do our friends and colleagues see us?
- When and how do we consider our appearance? At home, at school, at
work?
- What makes us stand out as memorable, attractive, friendly,
trustworthy?
- Are we drawn to faces similar to ours?
- How do we respond to facial expression?
- Do we dress for work or does our work determine what we wear?
- Focusing on all the essential elements of personal impact
Helen is highly professional, attractive, engaging with a sparkling
personality and a wicked sense of humour. Able to be versatile and
adaptable to needs of the audience, she is willing to facilitate
both formally and informally to ensure the success of the event
